I’ve always been passionate about helping dogs and their owners build happy, rewarding relationships. With over 10 years of experience working in the animal industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of animals and dogs, developing a strong understanding of behaviour, training and welfare.

My career has taken me from working with tigers and other exotic species at Colchester Zoo, to supporting Romanian street dog rescues. For the past four and a half years, I have worked with Dogs Trust, initially as part of their training school before moving into the Behaviour Team at their Basildon Rehoming Centre. These experiences have given me invaluable hands-on experience working with dogs with a wide range of personalities, backgrounds and behavioural needs.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management and am a qualified member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT Member 01674). I believe training should be based on kindness, trust and positive experiences, while being tailored to each individual dog and their family.

Whether I’m leading puppy classes, working with owners during one-to-one sessions or out walking dogs across Essex my aim is always the same: to help every dog feel confident, safe and understood, while giving owners the knowledge and support they need to enjoy life with their dog.
