What areas do you cover for dog walking?

We provide solo dog walking in Braintree and many surrounding areas, including Great Notley, Black Notley, Rayne, Felsted and nearby villages throughout North Essex. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Why do you only offer solo dog walks?

Solo walks allow us to give your dog our full attention throughout the walk. They’re ideal for puppies, senior dogs, nervous or reactive dogs, or any dog that benefits from a calmer, more personalised experience. Every walk is tailored to your dog’s pace, personality and exercise needs.

How much does dog walking cost in Braintree?

Our solo dog walking prices are:

  • 30-minute walk – £18
  • 60-minute walk – £25

Every walk is carried out on a one-to-one basis, ensuring your dog receives dedicated care, exercise and enrichment.

Where do your dog training classes take place?

Our puppy classes and 1-to-1 dog training sessions are held at Felsted Memorial Hall, Essex, providing a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where dogs and owners can learn together using positive reinforcement techniques.

What training methods do you use?

We only use reward-based, positive reinforcement training. This means we reward the behaviours we’d like to see more of, helping dogs learn in a way that builds confidence, trust and a stronger relationship with their owners. We never use harsh or punishment-based training methods.

What is included in your puppy training classes?

Our six-week Puppy Foundation Course covers the essential skills every puppy needs, including recall, loose lead walking, focus, confidence building, settling calmly, and basic obedience. With a maximum of five dogs per class, every owner receives plenty of individual guidance.

Do you offer private dog training sessions?

Yes. We offer one-to-one dog training sessions in Felstead, tailored specifically to you and your dog’s needs. Whether you’re introducing a new puppy to training or working on behaviours such as recall, lead pulling or confidence, each session is personalised to help you achieve your goals.

Are you qualified and insured?

Yes. Sophie holds a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management, is a qualified APDT Member (01674), is fully insured and DBS checked, giving you complete peace of mind whether your dog is joining us for training or a walk.

Do you work with dogs outside of Braintree and Felsted?

Absolutely. While our dog walking service is centred around Braintree and the surrounding villages, we welcome owners travelling from across Essex to attend our puppy classes and one-to-one training sessions at Felsted Memorial Hall.
